In this study, bullet-proof building panels are investigated. The aim of work is to verify whether the polyethylene-plywood withstand frontal impact with high-speed projectiles. Ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene (UHMWPE) a promising ballistic material due its favorable properties – significant toughness and high strength-to-weight ratio, meantime it lightweight. By setting different parameters such as laminated plywood width various UWHMPE facade layers, protective effect their performance characteristics discussed using 9 mm caliber handgun Glock 17 Luger bullets. results show positive 3 4 combinations resist bullet. board an arrangement 2x32 cm outside UHMWPE inside room captures bullets; bullets pass through layer stop in polyethylene. experiment also tested individual at 2 thicknesses monitor damage material. study will be useful designing for buildings like unclassified (army headquarters, safe rooms) from small arms weapons use.
